I really agree with Mr.Kentaro.I have been a Japanese salary man for 15years and I think I and my co-workers always have our goals, dreams and passion about our tasks.Being a Japanese salary man is wonderful, at least to me.If I can't dream, why can I spend most of my life as a salary man?
I understand Japanese society is hard for entrepreneurs and most of people are involved in something secure.I think it's not because of a lack of individual's fighting spirit but the organic structure of society. I think every business should exist to contribute to the society. We should choose the best way to make the most of our abilities by individual's capacity, the way to think, the society and surroundings.

Everybody can dream about stuff to do. Some of us take that little step toward that dream. Its the small courage to take that step, that seperates the ones who do from those who don't.

OK youve seen this externally, now imagine how frustrating it is being on the inside and trying to improve the organization or merely even suggest a better way to hit targets.

Ryoko, its not the same in the USA. Americans really understand and appreciate the concept of entrepreneurship even if they are too afraid to become one. Some companies actually encourage entrepreneurial behaviour. Its not a foreign concept to them. But my feeling is that in Japan its a extremely foreign concept and so its even more difficult.

That's why I don't like the lifestyle of Japanese salary men. It's one big reason that I want to move to the U.S. although I guess it's most likely the same even in the U.S. as long as I work for a big organization, isn't it?
