Writing a book report on me?

First, if you are writing a paper about my life or about my work I am truly honored! Especially if you are doing it for Black History Month. Thank you! You’re awesome! I really want to help you. The easiest way to get a response from me is to compile your questions into a single query and send them via the contact form. I know some of you are under deadlines, so I will answer all of the questions ASAP. Just be sure to compile them into a single query.

Again, thanks!

That’s pretty cool, isn’t it! Kids writing book reports about you. :) Well, you deserve it.

Tres kool, man. Let me know if there is still a way to get you to lecture to our young scholars (that I work w/) here in Beantown.

    Ejovi,
Point well taken. Giving back to the community is great and rewarding. Over my 24+ year career, I’ve always made time to give back to my community. Whether it’s teaching GED (part-time), serving as mentor, or speaking at various public schools in the Boston area, the satisfaction that comes from helping others achieve, far out lasts the monetary gains.
I’m currently working with Mark and mentoring quiet a group of future technologist, engineers…etc. As he mentioned in his reply, whenever you’re in Boston and time permits, we would love to have come and address our scholars.

I read the first several chapters of Hacker Cracker. I loved it! And then my friend stole it back. We’ve been fighting over the book.

  6. Jordan Says:

    Yes,

I am the onw fighting over it with alex. We are both doing book reports on you. So is about 8 other people in our class.

  7. Matt Says:

yeah, sorry, alex. It’s not my fault I needed the book. Ejovi, your book is locatable in three areas of our large seattle metropolis.
there are… (3×2+3+3=…12) people needing your book. we can only work in pairs or trios. as a result, there is a constant half-war of the nerds for who has the book.

    but the book is wonderful.
    sorry, alex.

I am in the forensic computing graduate program at John Jay, and “Hacker Cracker” is one of the books we are currently discussing. All of my class members have blogs on wordpress where we have been associating criminology theories with some of the situations you encountered in the book. I read the book in a few hours since I couldn’t put it down ;-). Just thought you should know that its not only kids with book reports - us grown folk are receiving an eye opener as well ;-) Thanks
