Under both Democratic & Republican administrations the Social Security trust fund has been plundered. The spend that Social security surplus and then place "bogus" treasury bonds as the IOUs. Who will pay for those bonds. American taxpayers. Its like double taxation. You are taxed when you get paid (FICA). Then when those bogus bonds have to be redeemed you are taxed again.
