		<description>It's okay Ejovi. There are many different areas of computing that he can get into, and can get excited about. He probably doesn't realize that what you are doing is important, but with the sensitive nature of your work, you can't show him much. But I would say that it really impressed him more that you are doing important work and getting paid to use your mind to solve problems and keep people secure.

That is what will win him over in due time.</description>

		<description>About 5 years ago I would have told any kid looking for career advice to look into the computer field.  

Nowadays I don't do that.  Corporations are outsourcing the programming jobs overseas. There are fewer system admin / networking jobs available. Right now the only booming computer field that can't be outsourced is computer security. However, soon I predict that field will be flooded with too many CISSP, SANS grads.

I think it is great to introduce your brother the computer world. Probably the best advice you can give is to tell him to do something he loves or has a passion for.  That will get him far in life. 

PS: Instead of Hackers show him a real classic WarGames.  Actually a GameBoy Advance and some cool cartidges would have kept him busy.  ;-)</description>
