Oh well, one can never really keep up with technology plus you don't want the first generation. G5 are great machines. It's handy to test apps in without screwing up a whole install. Just make a copy of the drive image that you create. Also with VPC, just buy the DOS version, it's cheaper and you can still install any version of windows you like. On my powerbook I was testing with 98, 2k, 2k Advanced Server and Server 2003. They all installed no problem. BBEdit is a great all around editing/developing tool. Grab Ecto to update your blog. Little Snitch will tell you what's going on with your network connections. Etherpeek will log the traffic on your network. Also grab Toast for a better CD/DVD burning solution. What did you have planned for the Mac? I agree VirtualPC is great.
