Tracking devices in our money?
It appears that the new twenty dollar bills may have an RFID (tracking device) chip in them. If you microwave your money the chip will explode. I haven’t tried microwaving my money, don’t plan to. So maybe someone can confirm this story.
UPDATE: No there are no tracking devices in $20 bills. All new bills have metalic particals in them to give the money a magnetic signature. If for example you try sneaking more then the $10,000 limit across the boarder it will set off metal detectors.

I’m with you on this one - the existence of an RFID tag in the bills has yet to be confirmed… Do you have a source for your info about the metallic contents to trigger metal detectors? I would be very interested!

Update this page (it’s a wiki - anyone can contribute!) if you have a source on the metal contents?)
