New Airport ID System
The U.S. has revealed a new ID system that will be used to monitor visitors entering the country on tourist, business or student visas. While it seems like a good effort, its not clear how this will help prevent terrorism. A finger printed terrorist is still a terrorist. Furthermore, this action may encourage other countries to follow suit, and I don’t know how comfortable I would feel with another government having my fingerprints.
