What have I been up to?

Six months ago I moved to Boston for a job opportunity. After living in Japan I figured I could live anywhere. I don’t know how true that is but I’ve been managing.

In September I’ll start going to Harvard while working during the day. It will be tough but what isn’t?

And what about future books? Well I am currently working on three book proposals, two too many. One of the books is a technical book, which has the highest priority now. The other two, true crime and undecided genre, are developing ideas.

With the exception of my family, co-workers, email friends and other you will be the first to know if any of the proposals actually turn into a book. I promise. Hopefully at least one of these will work out. Unfortunately, two of them require extensive research so it will be a test of my time management skills.

jovi,

i just finished reading your book this morning, and i feel like im talking to a long time friend. It was a suggested/”required” reading at the University of Virginia, where i will be studying engineering not too long from now. So for one, that’s a little side note to feel proud about(having entering engineer students at UVa read your book and all). But your book has inspired me to learn about UNIX and what is does and how to use it, ect. I was contemplating on asking you questions, but i’d rather not bother you and i mostly want to figure it out on my own. But it’s great that you have this website up, and good luck at Harvard. Will you be a first year/freshman?
