Wow, HAHA
Alot of AOL terms in that
'Lamer'
HAHA, i wouldn't think you would be someone to say something like that. Lol
Indeed, there is someone with the handle 'Pyro' I know him on AOL, he is a programmer. That is kind of crazy that he would change his handle to pry0 just because of a movie char. I have only had Two handles, Slave and nyte, my current one. Although I am only 14, i can program decently. Some people say that VB is not a programming language, but really, ask any average person if they know what a For I Statement is. It makes me feel real good when they can't answer me. Wow, the word 'eliteism'. I have never seen/heard that used before, in all my time in the quote unquote "AOL SCENE" I have not seen that used. Just, Owned, Ownage, etc. It was all very stupid now that I think back on it now. Although now, it is quite funny to see the people in The chatrooms i use to hang out in Fighting over a Screen name. HAHA That's what i despise about AOL.

I think if someone is a hacker/programmer/cracker/something of that sort
it shouldn't matter what their handle is
Although these people on AOL Fight over handles
it is kind of stupid to even waste time on fighting over one. I think that if you like a handle, you should be able to have whatever handle you like, but like I said, the AOLers don't make it free like it use to be. If you've ever been in the "AOL Scene", you will know what I have been talking about.
And you should also recognize some of these handles:
unab0mb
vi0watch
snypa
legend
Dime
if anyone is '1337', Elite, Leet, 3r337, Ereet, Whatever you want to call it, on aol
it is those people.

Even though some were really BLAH!! they still deserve credit for all they did on AOL

not to sound rude, but no one can teach you to hack, you need to learn yourself, use google, read, study, it takes time to learn. but someone teaching you is more of a risk, than the hack itself.

Yes, i agree with Simontek,
You have to teach yourself to hack
If you can teach yourself to program in VB
you can teach yourself to hack.

If you are willing to learn to become a truly good hacker, and put fourth enough time/take enough risks to make your name known, you should know better than to change your name. I have been thinking of my handle for a long time, and I have pretty much stuck to computer stuff (qwertyuiop, phat32, 4TRAN)

I have a question for you readers out there. I know C++, C Sharp, and C. I also know a great deal of Visual Basic, Java, Python, and PHP. I am 14 and have become obcessed with hacking. Can you suggest any language, website, or even program that would better me for further conquest. And on your replies don't worry about Operating System compatibility it's covered.

You see, it all depends on what you want to hack. I've found the best way to learn to hack is to learn some programing languages, take on a big project, like making an online game, writing a useful program, etc.

If you understand how the programs work, then it's easier to understand where to look for weak points. I've coded some basic port scanners in C++, I have coded forums, games, etc using MySQL databases and PHP, I run a web server off my home computer and so I've researched all possible security issues related to that.

Thus all my knowledge of what could be referred to as hacking can be passed off as self defense. I need to know what my OWN security issues are. If someone just happens to piss me off enough to cause me to unleash my knowledge on them, that's their problem.

hello I was wondering if anyone knows any good tutorials or web sites that will help me to learn more about programming and hacking. I am a nooby at this sort of stuff and was looking for any chance I can get to improve my knowledge in these areas.

I just happened to find this site, after a long day of surfing and doing buisness. I'm a 16 year old girl and have never seen the film hackers, but after hearing some of the comments about it, and being a retired hacker myself, I shall rush out and find it. I have used my handle for nearly three years and would never even thought about changing it to be 'cool' buisness is buisness.

I don't think it's a bad thing when someone teaches you how to hack.. Because, you learn faster than just trying to discover on your own.. The bad thing is what you feel about your skill in hacking.. Of course, when you learn on your own you'll feel prouder than having taught by someone.. I think what's more important is the skill than the pride..
