Bad Luck

i’ve been having a string of bad luck lately. it started awhile ago, but i’ll just pick up from when i was at the airport getting ready to go through customs and return to america that i realized that i had left my watch in my hotel! fine. i’ve gotten the watch back. no big deal.
then while on the plane my powerbook just failed. it doesn’t boot anymore. i get a little flashing folder with a question mark in it, as if the powerbook is asking me “hey what’s going on?” like i’m supposed to know!? so now i have lost about a year of photographs and documents that i did not have backed up.
i will try to recover this week, so all might not be lost. i guess thats what i get for starting my computer when the stewardess on the plane says “turn off electronic devices” i’ve learned my lesson. don’t fly.
