Update
With traveling, holidays and the frustrations of using Japanese keyboards I haven’t really been keeping up with the blog these past two weeks. But fear not, I have been taking plenty of pictures of my recent trip to Japan. I have a little more then 300 so far and I am no where near done.
The other day I had the pleasure of having lunch with Joi Ito I often refer to him as the guy who created the Internet in Japan. He owns the Japanese VC firm Neoteny which backed a security company in Japan I did some work with. I didn’t know what to expect from the meeting but I came away suprised that we had a lot more in common then I imagined. Like his strong interest in privacy issues in Japan, something that I’ve recently started researching. So we hit it off. It was actually his blog that motivated me to start doing somethng on my site.
I just found out today that the book was reviewed in the Washington Post on Dec 22. so that was exciting. Then there is the interview I did with IEEE Spectrum Magazine
I’ll be back in the US in a few days.

stupid question.. in japan their UPS type of sevice has the logo of a cat carrying a kitten in it’s mouth. *it’s kuro neko delivery service.* recently my boyfriend deleted his partition, which took down his website Phora.net and also all his pics with it. one of which was the pic of the delivery kitties. if you happen to see any of these trucks about, could you snag a picture for me?
thank you,
